| VAP RACING HISTORY
With no previous experience in motorcycle drag racing, Terry Vaughn purchased a 1976 Kawasaki KZ 1000 dragbike in the spring of 2001. Practicing at a local track, until comfortable enough to obtain an NHRA license, he then joined the NMRA. The National Motorcycle Racing Association is a West Coast racing organization similar to the Pro Star group on the East Coast. He traveled to several races that summer and the rest, as they say, is history.
